The Marie Vassilieff Committee

Marie Vassilieff died in 1957, destitute and all but forgotten. Her work remains poorly documented, scattered across private collections with no connection to one another. The sale of the Claude Bernès collection, on June 8, 2026, at the Château de Villandry, also marks the founding of a new institution: the Marie Vassilieff Committee.
